Therapy in Chelsea | Stefanie Raccuglia
High-energy environments often reward productivity while leaving little space for emotional processing or rest. You may appear composed and capable while internally feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or on edge. Therapy offers a regulated, attuned space to explore how stress and emotional experiences are being held in your body. I support clients in identifying patterns, releasing stored tension, and cultivating greater emotional clarity, grounding, and nervous system balance.

Somatic & Movement Therapy
READ MOREBefore thoughts fully form, the body often reacts. Somatic and movement psychotherapy helps you track these reactions with curiosity and care. By exploring physical sensations and allowing movement to guide awareness, you begin making sense of experiences that once felt out of reach. This approach supports nervous system regulation and integration, bringing together emotional insight and cognitive understanding.
Embodied Coaching & Consulting
READ MOREEmbodied consulting offers a space to untangle overwhelm and reconnect with your internal resources. Together, we explore how stress shows up in your body, how you’ve learned to manage it, and what helps restore balance. This creates a steadier internal rhythm that supports clarity and resilience over time.
EMDR Therapist
READ MOREDuring EMDR therapy, your system learns that the threat has passed. By following the body’s natural rhythms, we support relief without overwhelm. Many people notice fewer triggers, more emotional regulation, and a deeper sense of safety within themselves.
C PTSD Therapy
READ MOREC-PTSD therapy creates space for emotions and memories that never had safety to emerge before. Rather than pushing into distress, we prioritize pacing, attunement, and capacity. Healing becomes a process of settling rather than reliving, allowing confidence and self-trust to develop naturally.
Self Esteem Therapy
READ MORESelf esteem therapy gently traces patterns of shame, comparison, and self-judgment without reinforcing them. Together, we build practices that support grounding and internal validation. Over time, expressing yourself and taking up space can feel safer and more natural.
Burnout Therapy
READ MOREMany people experiencing burnout feel disconnected from their bodies and emotions. Burnout therapy helps you gently return to yourself by slowing the pace and listening to what your system needs. Over time, you feel more present and less overwhelmed.
Attachment Therapy
READ MOREAttachment therapy helps you notice when you instinctively pull away, cling tightly, or shut down. These responses often reflect early experiences of connection. As your nervous system becomes more regulated, relationships begin to feel less reactive and more balanced.
Therapy Supervision
READ MORETherapy supervision offers both structure and emotional support as you navigate the realities of clinical work. We explore patterns across cases, ethical dilemmas, and your internal experience. The goal is for your work to feel steady, resourced, and sustainable.

“Stefanie Raccuglia is a warm vibrant soul. She worked with my son for many years using movement to facilitate his own self-expression. In the process, she helped him experience himself as beautiful & talented, and supported me as the parent of a talented neuro-atypical child. She’s made a huge difference in our family’s life.“
LFR, Minister, Group Leader
“Stefanie hosted a ‘Getting Grounded’ Workshop for the Women in Engineering at my company. This was held via Zoom Meeting due to the pandemic. Despite the challenges that virtual meetings present, Stefanie was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and creative with her delivery. The content was relatable and allowed for our team to engage from start to finish. We cannot wait to schedule the next workshop!”

“Stefanie works with our agency in a few spaces... she does a group with our care coordinators to talk about client work and support for the care team in what they need to do their best work. She also facilitates a group of our team supervisors. We love the mindfulness she brings to the groups and does a great job holding space for what is needed in each moment. We all love the work Stefanie does and looking forward to continuing with her in 2022!“
Shelly Gainsley, Operations Director, The Health Partnership
"The manner in which all things came to a screeching halt in Covid shutdown for my student was mind blowing. She is a TAG, 2E empathic who feels so deeply when in most situations especially given crisis situations. Stefanie's weekly Zoom group meeting to support my student and others alike, was an incredibly helpful experience! She took time for each student, had mindful convos and fun exercises!”

“I work for a fast-paced, innovative, and diverse tech company in Los Angeles. Stefanie has facilitated a few classes for our employees and clients. It is enough that Stefanie so intimately understands her areas of expertise and is able to deliver information that not only changes the here and now but truly the future of her listeners - what is more exceptional is how Stefanie can talk to a room full of people and somehow manage to deliver her message in a way that every single person in the room, despite differences, receives it as if they are alone with her in deep conversation. Stefanie's points of view and conviction result in her driving impact every single time she joins us on many different topics.”

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if we’re a good fit?
Therapy works best when you feel safe, seen, and understood. If you're curious about working together, I offer a free 20-minute consultation where we can discuss your needs, my approach, and whether it feels like the right fit for you.
How often do we meet?
Most clients meet weekly or biweekly, depending on their needs and goals. We can discuss what frequency feels best for your process.
How long should I expect to be in therapy?
There is no standard timeline for therapy; it depends entirely on you and what you hope to gain.
At the beginning, we’ll establish goals and check in on progress over time. Healing is not just about “checking off” goals but about feeling confident in your ability to navigate challenges and growth without therapy.
Some people find 3 months helpful for gaining awareness and new tools. Others find that around 6 months, they begin making meaningful changes. Some continue therapy as a space for ongoing self-growth, while others work toward a specific outcome and end when they feel complete. I will never expect you to be in therapy longer than you need.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to a fee. This is explained more fully in my intake paperwork.
Can I use my insurance for virtual therapy?
I currently do not accept insurance payments. I can support you in seeking out of network reimbursement if your insurance plans has those benefits.
