Therapy in Tribeca | Stefanie Raccuglia
High-functioning routines and external success can sometimes mask internal stress, anxiety, or emotional disconnection. You may feel pressure to maintain composure while your nervous system remains taxed. Therapy offers a grounded, relational environment where emotions can be explored without judgment. I support clients in recognizing patterns, releasing accumulated tension, and building a more secure and regulated internal foundation.

Somatic & Movement Therapy
READ MORESome understanding arrives through feeling rather than thinking. Somatic and movement psychotherapy creates space to explore experience through the body, where meaning often lives first. As you attend to sensation and movement, patterns begin to make sense without overwhelm. This work helps regulate the nervous system and integrate emotional awareness with cognitive insight, supporting steadiness and self-trust.
Embodied Coaching & Consulting
READ MOREIn consulting sessions, we explore what feels misaligned and what your body has been communicating beneath the surface. This awareness supports healthier boundaries, regulated leadership, and deeper trust in your own judgment. Over time, decisions feel less forced and more internally coherent.
EMDR Therapist
READ MOREThrough EMDR therapy, you begin relating to parts of yourself that carry pain with more compassion and understanding. Emotional intensity gradually settles as integration occurs. Many clients experience a stronger, more cohesive sense of self as this work unfolds.
C PTSD Therapy
READ MORERather than rushing healing, C-PTSD therapy emphasizes rebuilding capacity slowly and intentionally. We explore how chronic stress shaped your body, emotions, and relationships while creating conditions for repair. Over time, your system learns to choose regulation instead of survival responses.
Self Esteem Therapy
READ MORESelf esteem therapy supports rebuilding a stable sense of self after experiences that disrupted your confidence. We work with emotional layers and the physical tension that often accompanies self-doubt. This creates space for greater ease, confidence, and inner calm.
Burnout Therapy
READ MOREBurnout therapy supports long-term change by addressing the root causes of exhaustion rather than managing symptoms. Through somatic and movement-based work, your body learns new ways of responding to stress. This builds capacity for rest, creativity, and sustainable engagement.
Attachment Therapy
READ MOREAttachment therapy creates room to examine the beliefs you’ve carried about love, safety, and closeness. Through embodied and relational work, these beliefs begin to soften. Relationships gradually feel less chaotic and more secure.
Therapy Supervision
READ MOREIn supervision, we attend to both your clinical development and emotional world. This integration supports a more embodied approach to therapy, helping you navigate challenging sessions with greater regulation and ease.

“Stefanie Raccuglia is a warm vibrant soul. She worked with my son for many years using movement to facilitate his own self-expression. In the process, she helped him experience himself as beautiful & talented, and supported me as the parent of a talented neuro-atypical child. She’s made a huge difference in our family’s life.“
LFR, Minister, Group Leader
“Stefanie hosted a ‘Getting Grounded’ Workshop for the Women in Engineering at my company. This was held via Zoom Meeting due to the pandemic. Despite the challenges that virtual meetings present, Stefanie was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and creative with her delivery. The content was relatable and allowed for our team to engage from start to finish. We cannot wait to schedule the next workshop!”

“Stefanie works with our agency in a few spaces... she does a group with our care coordinators to talk about client work and support for the care team in what they need to do their best work. She also facilitates a group of our team supervisors. We love the mindfulness she brings to the groups and does a great job holding space for what is needed in each moment. We all love the work Stefanie does and looking forward to continuing with her in 2022!“

"The manner in which all things came to a screeching halt in Covid shutdown for my student was mind blowing. She is a TAG, 2E empathic who feels so deeply when in most situations especially given crisis situations. Stefanie's weekly Zoom group meeting to support my student and others alike, was an incredibly helpful experience! She took time for each student, had mindful convos and fun exercises!”

“I work for a fast-paced, innovative, and diverse tech company in Los Angeles. Stefanie has facilitated a few classes for our employees and clients. It is enough that Stefanie so intimately understands her areas of expertise and is able to deliver information that not only changes the here and now but truly the future of her listeners - what is more exceptional is how Stefanie can talk to a room full of people and somehow manage to deliver her message in a way that every single person in the room, despite differences, receives it as if they are alone with her in deep conversation. Stefanie's points of view and conviction result in her driving impact every single time she joins us on many different topics.”

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if we’re a good fit?
Therapy works best when you feel safe, seen, and understood. If you're curious about working together, I offer a free 20-minute consultation where we can discuss your needs, my approach, and whether it feels like the right fit for you.
How often do we meet?
Most clients meet weekly or biweekly, depending on their needs and goals. We can discuss what frequency feels best for your process.
How long should I expect to be in therapy?
There is no standard timeline for therapy; it depends entirely on you and what you hope to gain.
At the beginning, we’ll establish goals and check in on progress over time. Healing is not just about “checking off” goals but about feeling confident in your ability to navigate challenges and growth without therapy.
Some people find 3 months helpful for gaining awareness and new tools. Others find that around 6 months, they begin making meaningful changes. Some continue therapy as a space for ongoing self-growth, while others work toward a specific outcome and end when they feel complete. I will never expect you to be in therapy longer than you need.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to a fee. This is explained more fully in my intake paperwork.
Can I use my insurance for virtual therapy?
I currently do not accept insurance payments. I can support you in seeking out of network reimbursement if your insurance plans has those benefits.
